About JIPL
Jain International Power Limited (JIPL) has a rich history that began on May 11, 2004, when it was founded as a proprietorship firm with a mission to excel in mechanical infrastructure services. Early in its journey, JIPL achieved a ground-breaking milestone by securingan exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, positioning JIPL as one of the most prominent authorized partners of CG Power in Eastern India, operating from its base in West Bengal. This achievement solidified the foundation for JIPL’s future success, fuelled by the strategic vision and relentless ambition of its founder, Mr. Prakash Kumar Jain. From the start, Mr. Jain’s leadership emphasized developing engineering capabilities and delivering top-tier mechanical service solutions. This vision led JIPL to partner with some of India’s most esteemed companies, including SAIL, VOLTAS, Lafarge, Larsen & Toubro, and NHPC Ltd., reflecting its growing reputation and trusted service standards.
What began as a modest operation with a few lakh in turnover has now transformed into a thriving organization with an annual turnover nearing ₹200 crores by FY 2025. Recognizing the opportunity to expand its impact and harness the goodwill built over two decades, JIPL made a strategic transition on April 18, 2022, transforming from a proprietorship into a public limited company. This transition was driven by a commitment to stronger corporate governance, enabling JIPL to scale new heights while maintaining the quality and trust that has become synonymous with its name.
Jain International Power Limited (JIPL) traces its origins to 2004, when our founder, Mr. Prakash Kumar Jain, established “M/s. Jain International” as a sole proprietorship. With growing scale and the need for structured corporate governance, the business was formally restructured and incorporated as a Public Limited Company on April 18, 2022. JIPL carries forward the legacy of its promoters — Mr. Prakash Kumar Jain, Mr. Parveen K Jain, Mrs. Chandan Jain, Mrs. Garima Jain, Ms. Labdhi Jain, and Ms. Vanshika Jain — who continue to play an active role in steering the company’s growth with their experience, vision, and leadership. Together with a qualified management team, they have driven JIPL’s evolution from a trading-led business into a dynamic engineering-driven enterprise.
